About Me

I have experience and training in multiple therapeutic modalities to provide a foundation for our work together and support you in identifying barriers to your progress. My work is attachment-focused and trauma-informed, influenced by the use of mindfulness.

My style as a therapist is humanistic and genuine. You are a unique individual and your needs dictate the treatment. I draw upon treatment approaches such as Emotionally Focused Couple therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and DBT skills, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and related modalities.

I have over a decade of experience providing therapy services to our community. I have extensive experience working with adults, adolescents and their families in individual and group therapy to support them in recovery from mental health issues and resolving traumatic experiences and losses. My work with clients spans multiple cultural backgrounds, sexual and gender orientations, and age groups. My experience includes working with depression and mood disorders, anxiety and related disorders, PTSD, grief, peri and post-partum issues, adjustment problems, and more.

I provide individual therapy, including individual EMDR therapy for adults and adolescents, family therapy in conjunction with therapy for adolescents and therapy for couples.

Couples Therapy

My work with couples is informed by training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I strive to support you in creating and strengthening the bonds in your relationship, identifying the areas of health and strength, healing old hurts, de escalating conflict and empowering you with techniques to improve positive, enjoyable interaction. Entering this process can feel vulnerable and intimidating and it is important to me that you each feel heard, understood and supported in this process of change.
