My role as your therapist is to support you in identifying your strengths and resilience while encouraging you in the therapeutic process, uncovering your sense of wholeness and wellness. You may be suffering with loss, loneliness, depression, anxiety, losing a sense of purpose or belonging or you may be grappling with the after-effects of traumatic experiences in your life, and a return to wellness is possible.
My style as a therapist is humanistic, authentic and experiential. My training and experience is from a trauma-informed perspective and my work is attachment-focused. You are a unique individual and your needs dictate your treatment as my client. I draw upon multiple treatment approaches to provide you with warm, compassionate and effective care. In my office space, I seek to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
In our first meeting, I intend for you to feel heard and understood and hope to learn about your journey and what brings you into care at this time. We may then collaboratively create a plan for your treatment that brings you a sense of hope and security.
